We have been renting cars from Island Rental Cars for many years. The process, including drop off and pick up, have been seamless. Yes, the cars are older, but the cost to rent them reflects that. The cars have been reliable, economical, and allow you to blend in with the locals. One time we locked the keys in the car while loading to leave for the airport. They quickly drove to Princeville to unlock it so we didn’t miss our flight. I have confidence that if there was ever an issue with the car, they would be there to help. I only wish there were similar companies on the other islands.
